What an incredible weekend at the annual Suwannee River Breast Cancer Tournament!

Nearly 90 boats participated, helping raise more than $200,000 to support this cause. First Federal Bank is honored to sponsor and support events that make a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Giving back in the community is an important part of the Tiger Bank experience. On September 16, our Tiger Bank interns volunteered at the VA Domiciliary, serving ice cream during a bingo event and spending time with veterans. Thank you for welcoming our team and allowing us to be part of the day.

Last night, team members from several First Federal Bank locations volunteered at the CARC 2025 Awards Banquet Celebration, serving dinner to clients, employees, and guests during an evening dedicated to honoring dedication, hard work, and personal growth.

We were grateful for the opportunity to support CARC as they recognized the individuals who help make their mission possible and celebrated another year of empowering those they serve. Thank you, CARC, for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful evening.

Today, members of the First Federal Bank team joined the Lake City community in commemorating the 25th Anniversary of September 11th. Amanda Jackson, Community Lending Officer; Gigi Register, Commercial Banker III; Lacrecia Barber, Regional Senior Commercial Banker; and Amanda Gates, Loan Officer, joined Lake City Fire Chief Josh Wehinger, Assistant Fire Chief Ret Tompkins, and Representative Kat Cammack and other local leaders, first responders, and community members to honor the lives lost, recognize the heroes who served, and reflect on the strength and unity that emerged in the days that followed.

During the ceremony, Gigi Register had the honor of hanging a wreath on behalf of the Daughters of the American Revolution as part of the remembrance tribute.

We are grateful for opportunities to come together with our community to honor those we will never forget.

On Patriot Day, the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we honor those who lost their lives, the families who continue to carry their loss, and the first responders and veterans whose courage inspired a nation. May we never forget the strength, unity, and resilience that emerged in the face of tragedy.

As students headed back to the classroom, Tiger Bank had the opportunity to spend part of the first week of school with local educators. The team provided breakfast for teachers and held raffle giveaways as a small way to thank them for the care, patience, and dedication they bring to their students each day.

It was a great morning of connecting with educators, sharing a few smiles, and helping kick off the school year on a positive note. To all the teachers who invest so much of themselves in helping students learn and grow, thank you for all that you do. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom and helps strengthen our communities every day.
