Where were you on August 24, 1992?

Thirty-four years ago today, Hurricane Andrew made landfall near Homestead, Florida at 5:05 a.m. as a Category 5 storm, with winds estimated at 165 mph. It tore through southern Miami-Dade County, hitting Homestead and Florida City the hardest, before crossing the state and making a second U.S. landfall in Louisiana just two days later.

Andrew is still one of the most powerful hurricanes to ever hit the United States, and today marks 34 years to the day. If you remember it, we'd love to hear where you were in the comments. ⬇️⬇️
