Being a caregiver is one of the most difficult jobs around. People who take care of family members are twice as likely to suffer from depressions as the general population. Taking care of yourself is just as necessary as taking care of others. You can't work effectively if you aren't well yourself.
Here are a few ways to manage your self-care.

Try to keep up with the hobbies and activities that make you happy.
Exercise at least a few times a week.
Call or visit friends regularly. If you feel overwhelmed, get help.
Hire help even if it's only a few times a week.

Guess what? The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) for making changes to your Medicare Part D drug plans and your MAPD/MA (HMO) is almost upon us. Carriers are officially releasing new benefits for their 2022 plans on October 1, and changes can be made beginning on October 15. AEP ends on December 7. If you make a change your new plan will begin on January 1, 2022. Please let me know if I can help you.
