In Loving Memory of Lorraine LeBlanc.
A treasured member of the Gulf Coast Bank family.
It is difficult to put into words what Mrs. Lorraine meant to us. She was one of the first three employees of Gulf Coast Bank. What followed was an extraordinary career spanning decades. Years devoted not simply to banking, but to people.
She watched the bank grow, helped establish the standard of customer service for which it became known, and passed that spirit on to generations of employees who followed her.
Those of us fortunate enough to know Mrs. Lorraine know that her legacy cannot be measured by years alone. She was far more than an employee. She was part of the heart of Gulf Coast Bank.
Mrs. Lorraine would do anything she could to help a customer. She cared deeply, served generously, and treated people with a warmth and respect that made them feel like more than customers. They were family.
Mrs. Lorraine understood something that remains at the center of who we strive to be today: community banking is about relationships. She knew our customers personally. She listened to them, helped them, celebrated with them, and stood beside them through important moments in their lives.
When Mrs. Lorraine retired, her daughter Karen shared words that captured the relationship so beautifully: "Lorraine considered Gulf Coast Bank's employees and customers her family. She expressed gratitude for the friendships she had made through the years and for the people who had made her work so enjoyable." Today, those words carry even greater meaning.
Mrs. Lorraine passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family. Her life was filled with family, friendship, hard work, travel, laughter and adventure. Above all, she treasured her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
To Mrs. Lorraine's family, we hope you know how deeply we adored her, how profoundly we respected her, and how grateful we will always be that you shared her with Gulf Coast Bank for so many years.
There are people who work for an organization, and then there are people who become part of its story. Mrs. Lorraine is part of ours forever.
We mourn the loss of someone incredibly special, but we also celebrate an extraordinary life and legacy.
Thank you, Mrs. Lorraine, for your loyalty, for your example, and for loving our customers and our employees so well.
Most of all, thank you for being part of our family. You will always have a special place in the heart and history of Gulf Coast Bank.
With all our love and deepest gratitude,
Your Gulf Coast Bank Family
