Mitchell in Lafayette, Indiana in 1885. When founded, it encompassed a law practice, insurance agency, retail storage, and abstracting business. In 1940, Frank A. Tedford separated the insurance division and it has existed in this form ever since. is an Independent Agency writing all types of property and casualty insurance from municipalities and schools to home and auto. We pride ourselves in “putting the client first” and it is a philosophy both clients and employees believe in.
