Our community is rich with culture, music, dancing, and especially FOOD!

This past weekend was the World Championship Gumbo Cookoff held in New Iberia, Louisiana. Our team was there to support our community and of course taste as much gumbo as we could!

Congratulations to the organizers, volunteers, and especially to the chefs for making this such a great event!

If you know Randy, you know he can strike up a conversation just about anywhere.

This past weekend, he was in Austin for a baseball umpire camp and stopped into a Texas Longhorn bar on college football game day. He grabbed the only empty seat, started chatting with the guy next to him, and the two hit it off.

His seatmate? Shelby McEwen, a two-time Olympian and Paris 2024 silver medalist in the high jump! A Mississippi native, Shelby competed for the University of Alabama.
