Had a nice evening getting reacquainted with the board of the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce. The business environment of this Valley is very unique. And I’m excited to rejoin the board of the La Quinta Chamber of Commerce.

ClearSpring health is ending all of its Medicare Advantage plans effective June 1. After being fined for mismanaging claims, they have decided to exit the business.
ClearSpring Health didnt have many enrollees, abut 12,000 nationwide. But I see this as a sign of how difficult it is becoming for smaller insurers in the highly competitive Medicare business.
