Construyendo comunidades mejores, más fuertes y más conectadas que nunca.

El 2 de febrero de 2024, uno de los incendios forestales más devastadores de Chile se desató en la región de Valparaíso, dejando 123 víctimas fatales y afectando industrias, infraestructuras de servicios y aproximadamente 6.000 hogares en una superficie de 9.429 hectáreas. En medio de esta tragedia se encontraba el Club Villa Dulce CRAV, un club de fútbol con alrededor de 300 socios, fundado en 1961 por trabajadores de la Refinería de Azúcar CRAV. El incendio, que duró tres días, provocó una destrucción total: estadio, vestuarios, instalaciones principales, trofeos, recuerdos y archivos del club fueron completamente reducidos a cenizas.

A través de una importante donación impulsada por APWireless, en colaboración con la Fundación Alma Soul, fundada por el futbolista chileno Alexis Sánchez, el Club Villa Dulce CRAV logró reconstruir sus instalaciones. Los miembros de nuestro equipo APWChile asistieron recientemente a la gran reinauguración del club y a la presentación de sus instalaciones reconstruidas.

Building communities better, stronger, and more connected than ever.

On February 2, 2024, one of Chile's most devastating wildfires broke out in the Valparaíso region, resulting in 123 fatalities and impacting industries, service infrastructure, and approximately 6,000 homes across 9,429 hectares. At the center of this tragedy was Club Villa Dulce CRAV, a football club of around 300 members founded in 1961 by workers from the CRAV Sugar Refinery. The three-day fire caused complete destruction; stadium, locker rooms, main facilities, trophies, memorabilia, and club archives were all reduced to ashes.

Through a significant donation led by APWireless, in collaboration with the Alma Soul Foundation, founded by Chilean football star Alexis Sánchez, Club Villa Dulce CRAV was able to rebuild its facilities and reopen. Members of our APWChile team recently attended the club's grand reopening and unveiling of its reconstructed facilities.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Plumstead as Chief Executive Officer of Radius Global Infrastructure.

Julian brings more than three decades of leadership experience across finance and digital infrastructure, with a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence across global platforms. He previously served as CEO of ATC Europe at American Tower, where he led operations across multiple countries and oversaw significant strategic expansion.

As CEO, Julian will work closely with the executive and senior management teams to shape and execute Radius Global's global strategy, further strengthening our portfolio and advancing our position as a leader in the digital infrastructure sector.

We would like to thank retiring CEO Scott Bruce for his contributions to Radius Global, leading the team that enabled the company’s remarkable success. He will remain with Radius Global as a Senior Advisor.
