Dear Campbell County Schools Students, Families, Staff, and Community,
Welcome back to a new school year!
As we begin another year together, I am filled with excitement and optimism about the opportunities ahead for our students. Every new school year brings a fresh opportunity to learn, grow, build relationships, and discover new possibilities. Most importantly, it gives us another opportunity to work together to ensure every student in Campbell County Schools has the support, encouragement, and resources needed to succeed.
Our mission, “Excellence for every student, every day!”, continues to guide all that we do. It is more than a statement—it is a commitment to providing every student with meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve. We believe every student has the ability to succeed, and we are dedicated to helping each child reach their fullest potential.
Over the past week, our dedicated staff members have been working hard to prepare for the return of our students. Classrooms have been organized, lessons planned, professional learning completed, buildings prepared, and countless details addressed to ensure we are ready to welcome students back. Across Campbell County Schools, our staff have been collaborating, learning, planning, and preparing with one goal in mind: creating the very best learning environment possible for our students.
To our teachers, administrators, and staff, thank you for the time, energy, and heart you have invested in preparing for this school year. Your commitment is evident in the work you do before students ever walk through our doors. Your dedication brings our mission of “Excellence for every student, every day!” to life, and we are grateful for all you do for the children and families we serve.
Our students are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to helping each child grow academically, develop confidence and character, and discover their unique strengths and talents. Their success is our shared success, and we look forward to celebrating their accomplishments—both big and small—throughout the year.
To our families and community: thank you for being valued partners in education. Student achievement is strongest when schools, families, and communities work together with a common purpose. Your encouragement, involvement, and support make an important difference in the lives of our students. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels known, valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.
As we look ahead, let us embrace this school year with high expectations, a spirit of collaboration, and a belief in what our students can accomplish. Let us continue to challenge ourselves, celebrate growth, and seek opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of our students.
On behalf of Campbell County Schools, welcome back! I am excited about what we will accomplish together and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, achievement, and opportunity.
Together, let’s make it a year of excellence—for every student, every day!
Here’s to a wonderful 2026–2027 school year!
Sincerely,
