We had a great time at the Rush County 4-H Livestock Premium Auction on Saturday! So proud of these kids and how hard they have worked all year! Got to shake hands with Mr. Tracy, Larson, and Felder. Happy to support our youth as they expand and learn life skills for the future! 💜 🍀 🐐 🐂

Kansas Farm Bureau is hosting a webinar Wednesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. with Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks' Chief Counsel Kurtis Wiard to discuss non-resident landowner deer tags. Designated by statute as "Nonresident Hunt-Own-Land Deer Permits," these tags are guaranteed for nonresidents who own land in Kansas, meaning they don't have to rely upon the usual nonresident draw. As interest in Kansas trophy deer hunting has increased, so has the demand for these tags. Chief Counsel Wiard will provide an overview of the process, including issues such as defining a "bona fide manager" under the statute.
