The Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Housing & CDC is a 501(c)(3) organization serving the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community out of our new office at 1 N. Front Street in L'Anse, Michigan. We currently offer low-interest loans, matched savings accounts and a full slate of financial education covering numerous topics (credit, budgeting, home buying, etc.)

We want to congratulate the Angela Pete household in Watersmeet for becoming new homeowners. They bought a brand new house built by the tribe on trust land. Lake Superior Community Development Corp, a native CDFI from the L'Anse Indian Reservation provided the financing.

In addition, Lake Superior Community Development Corp. is a HUD approved Section 184 Indian Home Loan Guarantee Lender specializing in serving American Indian Communities throughout Michigan out of offices at 1 N. Front Street in L'Anse, Michigan. We currently offer home loans, home repair grants, down payment assistance grants, and micro-entrepreneur loans and technical assistance focused on farming and ranching.
