Nancy, and her husband Bobby “Slick” Leonard, are longtime friends and clients of Shepherd Insurance. I had the pleasure of being Nancy’s advisor for the last five years and I can’t say enough kind things about her. She always spoke with so much enthusiam about what and who she loved in her life. She had the ability to make me feel like a friend, even while doing business. I know she will be missed by all who love her.

• Stay focused on the road.

I hope everyone is safe from the storms Indiana had last night. I’ve seen a lot of photos of the damage and I know this season can be stressful.

If you do have damage to your home or vehicles please remember to take pictures first. If you’re not sure if you should file a claim, give your agent a call before turning it in directly to your carrier. Sometimes it helps to talk through things and make sure it hits your deductible before.
