Does FMLA apply to your business? Here's the quick answer.
If you're a private employer with 50 or more employees for at least 20 workweeks this year or last, FMLA covers you. Once you hit that threshold, you stay covered until you fall below it for a full 20 weeks. Public employers and school boards are covered no matter their size.
