About Me
I was born in New Hampshire, but moved to Tennessee at a very young age, and attended Maryville High School. I then went on to Clemson University, graduating with a degree in English. My first job out of school was working for Rolling Stone Magazine in New York.
Life changing decisions brought me to Knoxville in my early twenties. I had quit my job in New York, and was hired as a temp to answer the phones at a very young mortgage company, called Mortgage Investors Group (MIG). I hated that job, but for some reason, when MIG needed a temp again, they requested me. I ended up loving the employees at MIG. So, when a new position was offered to me, I took the job! It was supposed to be only for a few months, but here I am twenty something years later!
I spend most of my free time with my husband, Harvey, traveling and enjoying time with friends as we are recent empty nesters. We have two daughters, one is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee (Vol for Life) and my youngest attends Loyola University Chicago.
