This time of year can be especially dangerous in parts of Tennessee where wildfires occur. Hopefully they don't happen, but if they do, being prepared is the best thing you can do. Consider mitigation steps that include:

✅ Clearing brush, flammable mulch, and vegetation from the areas near your property's buildings
✅ Creating "defensible space" around your property that allows you to avoid the closer spread of any fires
✅ Ensuring plants, shrubs, and trees are healthy and watered when there are spans without rain

Taking these steps and others can help you and your property be better protected.
