It's been interesting watching the Dated Cargo Brent (not futures) to the slope / pivot on the inversion in the forward curves find their floor of support, and consistently (and today) start to move higher off that $20.00 structure

While at the same time the full crack has been easing ...

What every old guy wants to hear from someone half their age grappling

"I knew that's what you were going for ... I thought every way I could to defend it ... and there was just nothing I could do. I knew you were going to land that ... and I had nothing"

He had a great head and arm choke I wasn't expecting, but was able to work a defense I've been wanting to practice in live rolls. Worked well, but boy that one threw me off. His weight distribution was near perfect as well

From this afternoon's "Portfolio Review" of 'Read the Report' at GTC Traders ...

"Post 3:00 PM EST Adjustments and/or Review of Portfolio for May 13, 2026: 'Bummer of a Summer' ™ is Underway"

'As we mentioned this morning in the note, that was an epic ... epic beat on Price Producer Index (PPI) pointing the way to higher inflation ...

And on a month by month basis ... the second worst PPI number in the last 10 years ...

And you know this next sentence is coming, right?

As ... we've ... been ... saying.

At least thus far, we've captured the moves of the markets this month, despite that PPI number. Despite how much I hate our naked longs in Equities ... we have them. And we have a ton of Bills, and short the bonds. Will that continue? Well .... let's go ahead ...."
