ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking applications and processing for approvals closing loans.
- Taking payments.
- Soliciting customers for additional funds and/of referrals (telephone or mail).
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Assists Branch by:
- Opening and Closing office as needed.
- Assists in collection of past due accounts.
- Timely completion / proper placement of loan documentation after loan closing.
- Following policy and procedures as set out by company manual.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Other education (degrees and advance training) and related experience (job times and type of experience) needed for various positions (if available) and will be considered in determining eligibility for vacancies.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, instructions, and necessary loan and collection documents. Employee must be able to clearly communicate via the phone and the computer.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw conclusions of those answers.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding, interpret, and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations or where only limited standardization exists.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Ability to obtain licenses, but not necessarily needed to obtain or perform job.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to view computer monitor and look up during day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most work inside, with only limited outside work to include going to bank, post office, outside collection calls, outside solicitation of dealers, merchants, and other referral sources for new business generation. Moderate noise levels to be expected.
