I ran a marathon!
It took me 4.5 hours. And honestly, it wasn’t just about the finish line. It was about all the moments leading up to it... the training days in the dead of winter when I didn’t feel motivated, the miles that felt impossible, and pushing through anyway.
There’s something powerful about doing hard things. It reminds you that you’re stronger than your doubts and more capable than you give yourself credit for.
One of my biggest takeaways had nothing to do with pace or time—it was the incredible sense of humanity along the course.
Complete strangers showed up just to support others. People holding goofy, uplifting signs that made you smile when your legs didn’t want to cooperate. Families handing out homemade cookies, orange slices, and encouragement like it was the most natural thing in the world.
It was a powerful reminder of how much impact simple kindness and positivity can have. When things get hard, it’s often the support around you—sometimes from people you don’t even know—that helps you keep going.
That sense of community is something I won’t forget anytime soon.
I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to the clients, friends, and community members who cheered me on, followed along, and sent messages of support. Your encouragement truly meant more than you know!
