Did you know nearly half of all car seats are used incorrectly? According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 46% of car seats are misused in a way that can compromise the child’s safety.
As we recognize Child Passenger Safety Week (September 21–27), it’s a great time to double-check your setup. Here are a few quick tips:
✅ Use the right seat for your child’s age, height, and weight
✅ Make sure the seat is tightly secured — less than one inch of movement at the base
✅ Keep straps flat and snug, with the chest clip at armpit level
✅ Visit a certified technician for a safety inspection if you’re unsure
