Important update on revoked ELD vendors as of today. 79 total have been out on the list of unapproved ELD vendors since January 2025.

🚨FMCSA Removes 12 ELDs from Registered List 🚨

Today, FMCSA removed 12 Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) from its list of approved devices for use in commercial motor vehicles.

“Safety is not optional, and neither is compliance. FMCSA is serious about removing unsafe and unreliable electronic logging devices from the market and holding manufacturers accountable to federal safety standards. These standards are in place to help protect everyone traveling on American roads,” said FMCSA Administrator Derek D. Barrs.

Drivers using the revoked ELD must switch to paper logs immediately. Motor carriers have 60 days to replace the device.

Since January 2025, FMCSA has removed 79 devices that failed to meet Federal standards to ensure the technical integrity of the ELD program.

UPDATE: Our phones are back up and appears to have been the entire Midwest according to Sparklight Tech Support. We appreciate your patience and thankful we were able to mitigate any missed calls with transferring our phone lines via the website. ATTENTION! Our phone lines are down! Our friends at Sparklight have let us down again - all of our phone lines are down. Please bear with us as we navigate this ridiculous way of doing business with an internet/phone company. We do have our main lined transferred to our after hours cell phone so we can get calls now!

The waiver provides hours of service flexibility for certain drivers. Check the comments for the full waiver and to see if you’re affected.

Stay safe out there, drivers, and remember:

🌨️🛞 Check tires, brakes, lights, and wipers before rolling.
🧤❄️ Clear your vehicle of ice and snow and keep an emergency kit on hand.
🧊🐢 Slow down and increase following distance.
🌫️⚠️ Stay alert for black ice, whiteout conditions, and sudden stops.
🏁➡️ Know when to pull over—getting there safely is always the priority.
