Attention!

Many individuals are receiving Service Area Reduction (SAR) notices from Aetna and Unitedhealthcare indicating that their Medicare Advantage coverage will be ending as of the end of the year.

If you have received such a letter, please know that we can help! There are many other options out there, and there are some that will put money back into your Social Security checks, meaning that you will pay less for your Medicare Part B premiums!

Remember, if you fail to select another plan by December 7, you will automatically return back to Original Medicare AND unless you enroll into a Prescription Drug Plan, or PDP, you will also be WITHOUT prescription drug coverage for which you will incur a late enrollment penalty that will stick with you for life!

Heads up . . .

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is less than 30 days away! Be on the lookout for a document, an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC), that insurance companies are required by law to send you.

This document will spell out the changes to your plan for the upcoming year as compared to your current plan.

If you are a current client, please note that CMS mandates that we can't talk to you about the changes for next year's plans until October 1.

A Medicare Cost Plan is a type of Medicare health plan available in some areas. In a Medicare Cost Plan, if you get services outside of the plan's network without a referral, your Medicare-covered services will be paid for under Original Medicare (your Cost Plan pays for emergency services or urgently needed services).
