What an amazing and fun day at the 2nd Annual Vandalia Health Mon Preston Memorial Hospital and Stonewall Memorial Hospital Dragon Boat Festival held at Stonewall Resort! We are SO GRATEFUL for our small town hospital and truly appreciate the love and support our family, friends and community showed yesterday! As the Team Captain, I’d like to thank all who participated on our team, you are all appreciated and you all did amazing! We were 2nd in regard to best time overall throughout the day (14 teams running 2-3 race’s each). Despite our timing being off during our final race, we did place 4th overall out of 14 teams! Yay “Fit Floaters” 👏🏼👏🏼 THANKS to my husband Ray, your local State Farm Insurance Agent, for sponsoring our Dragon Boat, Macie Roy, our local “I Am Fit” gym owner, for the shirts, and Beth Stone at “Affordable Signs Unlimited” for making the shirts. Special thanks to Renae Elliott for watching the grandkids while we competed! And finally, as a PMH Foundation Board Member, a big THANKS to our board members, event sponsors, Dynamic Dragon Boat Racing, and all those at Vandalia Health System behind the scenes working so hard to put this event together!!!
