These scammers may:

* Claim there was a suspicious purchase on your account.
* Ask you to reply **YES or NO**.
* Tell you that a representative will contact you.
* Send you a **passcode/verification code** and ask you to provide it.

❌ **DO NOT reply to the message.**
❌ **DO NOT provide your account information, PIN, passwords, or verification codes.**
❌ **DO NOT click any links or follow instructions from the sender.**

🔐 **TCFCU will NEVER ask you to provide a verification/passcode sent to your phone in this manner.**

We have been made aware of a fraudulent caller who is pretending to be from Texas Community Federal Credit Union. The caller may even appear to be calling from our actual credit union phone number.

The individual is asking members for information such as:

Account numbers
Verification/security codes sent to your phone
Debit card information
PIN numbers or asking you to change your PIN

⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION.

Texas Community Federal Credit Union will NEVER call you and ask you to provide a verification code, your PIN, or other sensitive information in this manner.

Scammers can “spoof” phone numbers, which means our legitimate phone number may appear on your caller ID even though the call is NOT coming from us.

If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be from the credit union:

📵 Hang up immediately.
🔐 Do not provide any account information or verification codes.
☎️ Call the credit union directly using the phone number you already know and trust to verify whether we were trying to reach you.

Remember: Never trust a caller simply because the phone number looks familiar.
