For Chris, Griffin Insurance has always been more than a workplace—it's family.

Chris has been part of the Griffin Insurance family since he was just 16 years old. After 12 years of learning, growing, and serving our community, he now serves as our Vice President. While most people don't dream of a career in insurance, Chris discovered he loves solving problems, finding creative solutions, and helping families and businesses protect what matters most.

Cheaper… or just less coverage? 👀

A customer recently came into our office ready to cancel his homeowners policy.

He had received a quote from another company that was considerably cheaper than what he was currently paying.

Instead of simply telling him why we thought he should stay, we sat down and compared the two policies side by side.

That’s when we found some pretty significant differences.

The cheaper quote was missing several coverages he currently had, including:

Every great organization has a leader, and ours is Johnny Griffin.

After moving from Alabama to Tennessee and overcoming more than a few hurdles along the way, Johnny founded Griffin Insurance Agency in 1980 with one simple goal—to take care of people. More than four decades later, that mission continues to guide everything we do.

Johnny's greatest blessing was marrying the love of his life, Juanita, in June of 1962. If you had the privilege of knowing them, you know they shared the biggest hearts and genuinely cared for everyone they met. Juanita was beautiful inside and out, and she is deeply missed every day. ❤️

Over the years, Johnny has built more than an insurance agency—he's built lifelong friendships and a reputation for honesty, integrity, and putting people first.
