We were excited today to make a presentation to several of our schools that had zero reports of unsportsmanlike conduct for 2025-26 school year : This award is named after Coach Richard Pickell who was the epitome of sportsmanship and always represented his school and community so well. The schools are Cherokee Middle , Harriman Middle, Rockwood Middle, Oliver Springs, Midway Middle, Midway High, Roane County High. We also appreciate our community members who donate to this award. Those contributions came from :
Enrichment Federal Credit Union , represented by Greg Samples.
The Roane Alliance, represented by Justin Snow.
Griffin Insurance, represented by Johnny Griffin .
First Baptist Church of Kingston , represented by Travis Harmon.
