Several weeks have passed since three Kingsport firefighters and a Sullivan County EMS paramedic were injured on I-26. All four are now home, but their recovery and medical expenses continue.
Horizon Credit Union remains committed to supporting these individuals and their families through our First Responder Recovery Fund, established in cooperation with the Kingsport Firefighters Association.
Horizon has committed up to $1,000 toward the fund, and we continue to welcome contributions from our members and the community. All donations will benefit the four injured first responders.
You can contribute in two ways:
- Visit any Horizon Credit Union branch and ask to make a donation to the First Responder Recovery Fund.
- Mail a check payable to Kingsport Firefighters Association – Fund Drive Account to:
1201 North Eastman Road
Kingsport, TN 37664
We appreciate everyone who has supported this effort and encourage others to consider contributing. These individuals and their families continue to face challenges long after the accident itself, and our community's support can make a meaningful difference.
