BUYERS BEWARE!!! Occasionally, but especially after a saltwater flood, we will see an influx of flood damaged vehicles being salvaged, rebuilt, and imported into Tennessee. For consumer protection, many saltwater flood vehicles are not able to be registered and titled in Tennessee. One notable example, the State of Kentucky will title a saltwater flood vehicle that has been "rebuilt" and allow registration and operation in the state of Kentucky, these vehicles are issued a "Kentucky Red Title". Kentucky red titles are comparable to a "non-repairable certificate" in the State of Tennessee, and we are not able to register vehicles in the State of Tennessee that has been issued a "Kentucky Red Title". A regular Kentucky title is Blue (older versions are grey/black). PLEASE USE CAUTION and do your research before investing your hard-earned money into a flood/saltwater flood vehicle, sometimes "Good-Deals" are too good to be true and with the current advertisements in online marketplaces, you may not be able to get back in contact with the seller and may lose out.
