There's a real shift happening in our industry right now.

More and more financial advisors are leaving the traditional broker-dealer and wirehouse model in search of something different.

Not because those firms are bad.

But because the structure was never really built for true ownership.

At some point, a lot of advisors come to a tough realization.

The relationships they've spent years building aren't fully theirs.

And that creates tension.

Because this business is personal. It's built on trust, long-term thinking, and real relationships with clients. It's hard to fully lean into that when you don't have control over how you serve, how you communicate, or how you grow.

What I'm seeing now is a shift toward ownership.

Advisors want more control over their business. They want flexibility in how they serve clients. They want to build something that actually belongs to them.

But independence isn't easy.

It takes structure. It takes discipline. And it takes a willingness to build something from the ground up.

That's where I think the real opportunity is.

Creating a place where advisors can step into independence without feeling like they're completely on their own.

A place where they keep ownership, but still have support.

Where they have flexibility, but also clarity.

This shift is still early, but it's real.

And I think it's going to reshape what it means to be a financial advisor over the next decade.
