Thank you to Matt Hammons for coming to Hancock High School Career Tech Center and speaking to our students about Safety. The students were told stories and shown pictures of what happens when you aren’t careful around different farm equipment, lawnmowers, chainsaws, household cleaners & gasoline. Mr. Hammons spoke to about 100 students this morning. We missed getting a picture of the first group due to weather delay & time restrictions.

🍀 West Hancock Elementary was recognized at the 24th Annual Governor’s Awards Celebration hosted by the Mississippi Association of Partners in Education at William Carey University on May 18!

WHE was honored for its partnership with the Hancock County Mississippi State University Extension Service to establish a 4-H Club that provides students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences connected to agriculture, science, leadership, and community engagement.

We are proud of the opportunities this partnership continues to provide for our students.
