Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Brett Howlett

Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Brett Howlett Serving Kilgore and beyond, I help individuals, families, and business owners design strategies to grow, manage, and transfer wealth with confidence.

Located in Kilgore, Texas, I help families and individuals build financial confidence and clarity—starting with a simple conversation. As a financial advisor, my mission is to understand what truly matters to you and your family. I believe in developing meaningful relationships and partnering with my clients to help them build wealth, live generously, prepare for the unexpected, and leave a lastin

g legacy. I focus on helping clients navigate both the transition into retirement and the years that follow, with a strong emphasis on comprehensive wealth strategies and thoughtful estate and legacy planning. Whether you’re planning for what’s next or fine-tuning an existing plan, I’m here to help you align your financial decisions with your long-term vision. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. While in college, I worked in various roles across East Texas—including coaching youth soccer and working in sales. Those experiences taught me that relationships matter, adaptability is essential, and with grit, structure, and determination, anything is possible. My passion for this work was sparked by my uncle, a longtime Edward Jones financial advisor. Watching the impact he made in his community inspired me to pursue the same path—and I’m grateful to now serve the Kilgore area with that same commitment. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Regan, for six wonderful years. We’re blessed with two amazing daughters, Ellington (4) and Emerson (1), who keep us on our toes and fill our lives with joy. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me traveling with my family, cheering on my favorite sports teams, or unwinding with a good scary movie. I’d love to learn more about you and your goals. Let’s visit.

As the conflict in the Middle East moves beyond its first month, major U.S. equity indexes have come under pressure. While the duration and ultimate path of geopolitical tensions remain uncertain, history suggests that periods like these can often be short-lived and may provide opportunities.

As the conflict in the Middle East moves beyond its first month, major U.S. equity indexes have come under pressure. The Dow and Nasdaq have entered correction territory, while the S&P 500 has pulled back but has not yet crossed the 10% threshold. Investor attention remains focused on oil prices, as...
