Hi! My name is Alexa, and I’m a senior at Kilgore High School. I’m a part of the Girls Soccer Program, Girls Cross Country, NHS, and the Citizens Student Bank Board. After high school, I plan to earn my bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. After that, I plan to attend a one-year program in cardiovascular perfusion.

Meet Kailynn 👋🏻

Hi my name is Kailynn! I’m originally from South Louisiana and moved to Kilgore, Texas after Hurricane Ida. I’m a senior with a love for fashion, modeling, traveling, and making memories. Twenty-five years later, the weight of September 11 still reaches across generations.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that followed.

A quarter-century has passed, but the lesson of that day still matters: in our hardest moments, we are strongest when we stand together.

Today, we pause with gratitude, remembrance, and hope that the unity we found then is something we continue to choose now.

What’s one money lesson you wish you had learned in high school? 💸

We officially kicked off a new year of the Citizens Bank Student Board of Directors! 🎉

For our first meeting, Senior Accounting Manager, Dylan Thomas, led **Budgeting 101**, giving students a practical look at managing money, making smart financial decisions, and preparing for the real cost of adulting. 😅

Throughout the year, our Student Board members will continue learning from professionals across the bank while building financial knowledge and real-world skills they can take with them beyond high school.
