HB 3781 changes how insurance companies announce rate changes. Instead of insurers changing rates and then informing the Oklahoma Insurance Department, they will now have to go inform us before changes. As your next Insurance Commissioner, I will use this tool to protect Oklahomans and make sure our market is fair.
