A 2020 study published in the journal JAMA Network Open found that people who had untreated vitamin D deficiency were almost twice as likely to test positive for COVID-19 as patients who had sufficient levels of the vitamin. A 6-ounce salmon filet has about 600 international units (IU) of vitamin D, which is close to the 800 IU that is recommended daily for people 70 and older. Did you know that unsolicited calls and even door visits from Insurance agents are against CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) rules? 📜 Don't entertain these crooked agents. If you didn't specifically request their contact, they are in violation of Medicare rules.

Here's what you should do if you encounter such agents:

Ask for their name and contact number.
Politely inform them that you need to verify with Medicare whether they had permission to contact you.
Watch as they quickly hang up once they realize they're in the wrong! 😲
