We are very excited to announce that the ATM at our Keosauqua branch has been moved to the back side of the building! Not only does this make the drive up so much more open, but it also makes the ATM more easily accessible by driver or passenger door. We would like to thank everyone for your patience during the process. Our drive up will reopen today at 11:00AM.

UPDATED: The ATM in Keosauqua has been moved and is once again operational!

📣In order to create more space for those using the drive-thru and ATM in Keosauqua, we have opted to relocate our ATM to the back side of the building. The move will happen on June 2. We will post again once it is operational!

Following the move, we will need to close drive-thru service for a short time to repair cement. We will let customers know as soon as we can as to when this will occur. Thank you for your patience as we make this upgrade!

Today we celebrate Ryan Forsythe's 15 years at First Iowa State Bank!

Ryan puts his Finance and Computer Networking degrees to work daily and never makes anyone feel bad about the most basic IT question. 😉 He even said his favorite part of the workday is getting to work with a great group of people! We truly appreciate his expertise and how he is always willing to help and work together to find solutions.

Good luck to all the state track and field participants from Albia, Davis County, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Van Buren. It was a big year for track and field in SE Iowa!

We were able to capture a few photos of the Davis County teams before their send off but are cheering just as loud for all others. And we can't forget our awesome Bloomfield staff showing their DC (and VB) pride!

We would like to congratulate and celebrate Alisha Duehn! Alisha started at First Iowa State Bank in 2006 as a Loan Clerk. She says, "The best part about (working at) First Iowa State Bank has been the abundance of opportunity to make connections and build relationships. What started as a 'job' 20 years ago quickly transitioned into a cherished career." Alisha is always up for a challenge and loves and lives by community involvement, which is apparent by her list of credentials. A true leader is what we have in Alisha, and we are lucky to have such a service-oriented and committed individual on our team!

When asked about changes she has seen in her 20 years as a banker, she shared, "The three biggest changes in my career have been 1) the evolution of technology 2) the shifting landscape pertaining to financial fraud, and 3) the pendulum swing of industry regulation. While technology has streamlined the majority of our processes and fraud has become an all too common and unfortunate reality, we are truly blessed with knowledgeable, compassionate staff who prioritize knowing the customer by name and providing quality, personalized customer service. It has been rewarding to discover and pursue my passion for advocacy, representing the Iowa community banking industry at both state and federal level."
