Yesterday, we welcomed some very special guests for Bring Your Kid to Work Day.

Our youngest visitors got a glimpse into what makes our credit union special. They enjoyed donuts, shopped in our kid store, and took part in a mini CU Kind Day by making tie blankets and decorating lunch bags for Kids' Food Basket.

It was a day filled with fun, learning, and giving back to our community. 💙

The CWCU Mortgage Team is honored to support the Grand Rapids Veteran Home with a snack drive for the incredible veterans who have served our country 🇺🇸❤️

Now through July 1, we’re collecting donations to help stock the snack bar for veterans🍿🥨 Cash donations are also welcome.

This is a small way we can show our appreciation for the sacrifices these veterans have made for our community and our country. We’re grateful for any support that helps bring a little comfort, care, and a few favorite snacks to those who have given so much 💙

Last Friday, a few CWCU team members had a great time at NCACU’s Superhero Spectacular Golf Outing in support of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Kent County.

We hosted a putting green challenge throughout the day, and the competition definitely brought some energy. One golfer took the loss especially hard and decided to tee off from his knees on the actual hole. That kind of commitment earned him a brand new pizza cutter.

Most importantly, events like this help support the incredible work the Children’s Advocacy Center does for children and families in our community. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our hole, had some fun with us, and helped support such an important cause.
