Part Time to Full Time Licensed Customer Service Representative
We are currently looking for and enthusiastic person to fulfill a part time to full time position (24-40 hours/week). This position would require the person to get a Resident Producer Property and Casualty Insurance License from the State of Michigan. The information and materials to become licensed would be provided by the Agency Owner.
Pay Range: $18-20/hour based on experience
Responsibilities will include servicing our current book of insurance clients as well as marketing to new customers. This would include answering phones, greeting customers, setting appointments, and assisting the agent in marketing, quoting, and sales activities in the agency.
Tasks will include:
- Respond to phone calls, and other forms of written communication (email, texting) - Processes customers payments
- Schedule appointments for prospective customers
- Update paperwork, and process documents
- Gather and maintain information to enter and create insurance proposals
Requirements:
*Confident self-starter who works well independently.
*Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
*Excellent data entry and processing skills.
*Must be able to multi-task and prioritize activities.
*High School graduate or higher
*Prior customer service experience is required.
*Prior insurance related experience a plus.
*Licensed in property/casualty insurance a plus.
