As Memorial Day approaches, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

All Kentland Bank branches will be closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day. We are grateful for the sacrifices made for our freedom and wish everyone a safe holiday weekend.

Service looks different these days for Josh Koch.

After serving in the Army, Josh continues serving through his work, his community involvement, and the relationships he builds every day here in Northwest Indiana.

What stood out most to us while creating this piece was not just Josh’s military experience. It was the way he talks about people, connection, and showing up for others when they need it most.

As we head into Memorial Day, we are proud to share his story and honor those who continue serving their communities long after the uniform comes off.

Join us for Spring Shred Day on Saturday, May 9 from 8:00 am to 12:00pm in our Kentland Bank Rensselaer parking lot at 480 S. College Avenue.

This community event is open to the public and offers secure, professional on site shredding.

Fraud prevention starts with staying informed.

Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday’s fraud seminar hosted by Kentland Bank, DeMotte State Bank and the Newton County Sheriff's Office at the Newton County Government Center in Morocco. We appreciated the opportunity to share important information about current scams, fraud trends, and ways to help protect yourself and your finances.
