After a long battle with cancer, Doug Jones passed away on May 30, 2026.

For more than 21 years as a State Farm agent, Doug had the privilege of serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout our community. He truly valued the relationships he built with his customers and took great pride in helping people protect what mattered most.

We are deeply grateful for the kindness, support, and prayers that have been extended to Doug and his family.

Customers should have already received information regarding the temporary servicing of their accounts. Please know that your policies and service needs continue to be supported.

We are saddened for this loss and his family is in our prayers

Washington State Patrol Trooper Christopher Gadd paid the ultimate sacrifice for the community he serves.

While on duty checking for impaired drivers Trooper Gadd was struck by a vehicle and died from his injuries.

Survived by his wife and daughter, Trooper Gadd served the WSP for 2.5 years and will always be remembered.
