Please join us in welcoming Jennifer Higbee to the Steamboat Group team as Senior Compliance Analyst!

In this role, Jennifer is responsible for ensuring surplus lines taxes are filed in compliance with state requirements by processing, handling, reporting, and requesting payment for transactions for the organization. She also trains and guides new surplus team members and assists the manager as needed on high-level projects.

Jennifer brings over 15 years of professional experience in various analyst roles, including as a Product Filing Analyst, Support Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, and Reporting Analyst across insurance, healthcare, and technology companies. She earned her A.A.S. Medical Office Assistant – Insurance Specialist/Transcriptionist degree from Luzerne County Community College.

On Monday, Kirk will be a featured panelist on the “Future of Private Flood” panel. Discussions will include private flood market growth potential, as well as considerations for the recent proposal for the private market to take on more of the current NFIP policies.
