I was an elementary school music teacher and getting third graders to play together (well, mostly together) was a part of my regular life. Now instead of teaching young students to sing, play, and dance, I teach adults how to organize, build, transfer, and protect their wealth. When an adult finally realizes they have what it takes to create their own financial success, their excitement looks a lo
t like the excitement of a third grader playing "Hot Cross Buns." I see many other parallels between musical and financial literacy like if you're not a part of the financial world everyday, it can be a confusing place. There are rules, processes, and strategies you need to be successful, but sometimes you just don't know what you don't know. I can be a guide to help you get organized and to help you create a personalized and manageable plan for your next steps in your wealth building journey. Then we'll work together as we communicate and re-evaluate on a regular basis to build, transfer, and protect your hard-earned wealth. They usually wait for a life event like approaching retirement, changing careers, selling a large asset, or receiving an inheritance. People also come to me when they're closing in on a goal and say, "I wish I'd met you 20 years ago." It's usually better to start planning sooner rather than later. Talking to financial advisors can be scary, but I'm different. Listening is one of my best skills. Let's start the conversation- it's not as scary as you might think.
