🌳 Storm Damage Checklist After Last Night's Winds 🌬️
If your property was affected by the storm, here are a few important steps to take before starting cleanup:
✅ Take photos of all damage before moving or removing anything.
✅ Prevent further damage if it is safe to do so (tarp a roof, board up broken windows, etc.).
✅ Save receipts for any emergency repairs.
✅ Do not dispose of damaged items until speaking with your insurance company.
✅ Be cautious of storm-chasing contractors. Never feel pressured to sign a contract immediately.
✅ If a tree fell, take photos showing where it originated and what it damaged.
