As if we needed an excuse to eat something sweet around here! 😋

Our team member, Jordan, decided to make National Dessert Day a little sweeter by bringing in these adorable and yummy fall-themed chocolate-covered Oreos that she made herself! 🍂🧡

And because we're a team that believes in supporting one another, we felt it was our duty to taste-test her creations. You know... for quality control purposes. 😉😂

Let's just say Jordan understood the assignment, and our sweet tooths are VERY grateful! 🦷😇

🌎💚 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY: BECAUSE MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS, TOO! 💚🌎

When we talk about health, we often think about taking care of our bodies. But taking care of our minds and emotional well-being is just as important. ❤️

This past Saturday, October 3rd, our team members Sandy and Jordan, along with Jordan’s four-legged walking buddy, Nadja 🐾, laced up their walking shoes and participated in the NAMIWalks 5K, supporting NAMI Fox Valley!

This meaningful event brings our community together to raise awareness, reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, and raise funds to support local mental health programs, resources, and services provided by The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). 💚💙

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, and sometimes the smallest acts of kindness, understanding, and support can make the biggest difference.

We're wishing our team member Ryan and his son, Abraham, GOOD LUCK as they try to reel in the BIG ONE up in Rhinelander, WI! 🎣

We're hoping a MONSTER muskie takes the bait and one of them lands a fish worth bragging about! 🤞🐟 And if not, well... there's always a good fish story to bring back! 😂

In the meantime, while these two are out casting lines and soaking up gorgeous views like this sunset Ryan captured over Moen Chain of Lakes (Fourth Lake) 🌅❤️, we'll be back here at the office holding down the fort and keeping things afloat! ⚓

Apparently Amanda got the memo… because she made me a cup of tea this morning! 🫖😂

Was it a simple act of kindness? Yes.

It’s 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, and if you know our team, you probably already know who took this holiday very seriously. 😂

Our resident “in-house baker,” Sandy, has developed quite the reputation for showing up with homemade goodies…and today was no exception! She brought in a tray of homemade cookies to make sure the team could properly observe this very important national holiday. 😉

Today, September 16, we celebrate Mexican Independence Day! ❤️🤍💚
The holiday commemorates the Grito de Dolores in 1810, when Miguel Hidalgo called for independence from Spanish rule—beginning a fight for freedom that ultimately led to Mexico’s independence in 1821.

👉And fun fact: Mexican Independence Day is 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲—𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼! 😉

¡𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚 𝐌é𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨!🎊

Our office celebrated with a Mexican potluck! Our bilingual agent, Denise, provided us with delicious tacos de asada (steak), carnitas (pork) & pollo (chicken)🌮. We also enjoyed homemade guacamole and taco dip and washed it all down with refreshing Jarritos (Mexican soda).

And dessert? We may have gone a little overboard. 😋 Helados Mexico (ice cream bars), Paleta Payaso (chocolate covered marshmallow lollipops), churro bites AND tres leches cake! 🍰
