Anybody else know this about Lemonade??
I hear you. Even as a licensed agent, we can’t cancel a renewal or make endorsements/changes based only on a third-party request—those updates have to be authorized directly by the policyholder.
The best next step is to have the policyholder message us directly to approve the cancellation, or loop them into the conversation so they can confirm it themselves. They can also submit the cancellation in their account here: https://me.lemonade.com and choose the effective date they want (including 6/5/2026).
We know that’s an extra step, but it’s there to protect the policyholder’s privacy and account security. If you have any other questions about the process, tell me.
