Removing an account from your credit report does not remove your obligation to the debt. A creditor selling your debt does not remove your obligation to the debt. Your requirement to pay can be stopped in a few ways:⁣

🌟Paying the debt⁣
🌟Filing bankruptcy and including the debt.⁣
🌟The creditor issuing you a 1099-C. The debt will then have to be claimed on your taxes as income.⁣
🌟The debt aging out of the statute of limitations.⁣
⁣
If debt collection was illegal, collection agencies would not be able to sue you and garnish your wages for a debt. Wages garnishments are ISSUED AND GRANTED by the courts……

SHOCKING, right?! So many different models! Different lenders will pull different versions of your FICO score depending on what you’re applying for. They calculate your “riskiness” different ways for different things. You may be less risky for a $30k car than a $400k home. This is why WHAT is on your report is more important than the score in some cases. If you have a “clean” and “balanced” report, the less risky you look to a lender.

✨The first 2 years of your building or rebuilding phase is important because this is when you’ll take majority of the hits with losing credit age (getting account deleted + adding new accounts).

❌❌Don't be a credit ju**ie. Adding inquiries to your report can really drag down the score. ❌❌

I know some people are scared of having credit cards. Credit isn't something to be scared about - you just have to be responsible with it. Start small. Use a secured credit card to build credit. Credit mix is important and it shows lenders/creditors that you are responsible with lines of credit.
