🪙With the expectation of interest rates and property values to continue to increase throughout 2022, I want to share some information for anyone in the market to purchase a home. One question I receive quite a bit from clients right now is how will rising rates impact their monthly payment if they choose to wait to purchase?

🔮Below are some visuals for a $400,000 Loan Amount assuming the payment including an escrow payment of $400 for homeowner’s insurance and property taxes.

⏫If rates increase to 4.25% compared to 3.25% that would have a monthly payment $227 more per month for the same loan amount of $400,000. That’s an extra $2,724 per year!
