Intern Takeover 🌟🎓
Hi, I’m Bryce Unruh, a Business Administration student at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, currently interning with Virtus Insurance. As a rising senior, I’m driven by my passion for intentional leadership and practical learning. This summer, I’ve seized the opportunity to dive into a fast-paced, entrepreneurial insurance environment where innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact are core to everything we do.
Throughout June and July, I’ve been fully immersed: from foundational training, rotating through vertical specializations, and supporting projects that drive client success. I have assisted in policy renewals, annual compliance notices, and editing marketing materials. Shadowing real leaders, participating in development programs, and mentorship sessions has given me concrete insight into how Virtus blends creative problem-solving with tech-driven efficiency.
Most notably, I’ve had the privilege to connect the Virtus team with my Chick‑fil‑A Operator in a special CFA Leadership session to share the intentional behind-the-scenes strategies that drive Chick‑fil‑A’s standout service: from core values and recruitment to performance metrics and feedback loops. By bridging the gap between industry-leading customer service practices and the Virtus culture, we reinforced how thoughtful, value-driven systems can elevate client experiences across any sector.
I have benefited immensely from the mentorship, training, and inclusive culture at Virtus Insurance this summer. From day one, I’ve been intentionally integrated into meaningful work. This blend of hands-on responsibility and supportive coaching has been pivotal in building my skills and confidence as I prepare for a career in business.
