Email from Buttonwood Financial Group Don't miss an evening of reflection, connection, and redefining what makes us rich.   Hello Ladies, As summer gives way to fall, we'd love for you to join us for

09/08/2026

We'll read 47 reviews before buying a $79 air fryer.

We'll watch nine videos before choosing a golf club.

We'll compare half a dozen hotels before booking a long weekend.

But when it comes to our retirement, our family's future, and the plan supporting it all, many of us leave things untouched for years without ever getting a second opinion.

Not because we're careless.

Because life is busy. The statements keep showing up. Nothing looks obviously wrong. And it's one more complicated thing on an already full plate.

As we reflected on Labor Day, it reminded us that wealth isn't really about the number on a statement.

It's about what that wealth makes possible: time with family, meaningful experiences, freedom, flexibility, and being present enough to enjoy it all.

That's why we're dedicating September to second opinions.

Buttonwood Financial Group is offering complimentary 20-minute second-opinion conversations. No pressure. No sales pitch. Just an opportunity to review what you have, how it's organized, and whether it's aligned with the life you're trying to build.

You may walk away feeling great about exactly where you are.

That's a win too.

Because confidence comes from knowing, not wondering.

If you'd like to schedule a conversation, message us or give us a call.

One of our favorite things about hosting community events is seeing so many great organizations, clients, neighbors, and friends come together in one place.

Thank you to the Child Protection Center, Inc. for joining us at our Free Betty Rae's Ice Cream Truck and for the incredible work you do every day to support children and families in our community.

At Buttonwood, we believe strong communities are built through relationships, connection, and showing up for one another. We are honored to support organizations making a lasting impact throughout Kansas City.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a scoop, a conversation, and an afternoon of community.

There is more than financial planning happening inside Buttonwood. 🍉

Our offices are also home to Buttonwood Art Space—a public gallery where local art, community partnerships and meaningful causes come together.

Take a watermelon’s-eye tour of the gallery, see “Seeds of Resistance” by Jacob Burmood as part of Parade of Hearts, and then join us this Friday from 5–8 PM for First Friday.

The current exhibition, “Color Outside the Lines,” benefits Child Protection Center, and 50% of every art sale supports the organization while the other 50% goes directly to the artist.

Tough result last night — but that's not stopping Fan Fest, and it's not stopping us. ⚽

Our Buttonwood team has been soaking up these World Cup moments together this summer — spouses, kids, friends and all.

Win or lose, we're keeping the plan the same: show up, make memories, appreciate the people we love. That's wealth we appreciate.

Still proud of this team, still proud of this city. Who's still headed out to Fan Fest this week? 🙌
