My post meant for yesterday… it was just tough and my phone died… but here it is…
On this day, we remember the tragedy that changed our nation forever. It's been 23 years since September 11th, 2001. I feel the weight of the sacrifice made by so many service members, the loss of my brothers and sisters who laid down their lives. There are days I grapple with regret and guilt, knowing I'm still here while others aren't…
Our military stands as the strongest in the world, but the strength comes from the bravery and commitment of those who serve. We owe everything to them, and yet, they don’t always receive the recognition they deserve. Today, and every day, I thank all who are currently serving, have served, or lost their lives defending the people of the United States.
9/11 is an emotional day for me—a day that reminds us of the courage it takes to raise your hand, take that oath, and defend our Constitution. Please, be thankful for anyone who makes that choice. Remember them. Honor them. We owe them that and so much more.
