Wonder what a mortgage broker does?

A mortgage broker is a licensed financial professional that does a lot of work for you as the homebuyer. They will help you gather the documents, pull your credit history, verify your income and employment, and negotiate on your behalf regarding the terms and length of available loans.

Once you decide on a loan, they will collaborate with the lender's underwriting department, the closing agent, and your real estate agent to make sure the transaction runs smoothly all the way up until closing day!
