✨ What is OEP?
Medicare Open Enrollment Period runs January 1 – March 31 and is a time for people already enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan to make a one-time change if their coverage no longer fits their needs.
During OEP, you can:
✔️ Switch to a different Medicare Advantage plan
✔️ Drop your Medicare Advantage plan and return to Original Medicare
✔️ Add a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan (if returning to Original Medicare)
🩺 This is also the perfect time to plan your year ahead. As you schedule your annual doctor visits, specialist appointments, labs, and preventive care, it’s important to make sure:
✔️ Your doctors and specialists are still in-network
✔️ Your plan works with the hospitals and facilities you prefer
✔️ Your prescriptions are covered and affordable
✔️ Your coverage aligns with your health needs for this year, not last year
