In 2012 I had been working as an Office Manager. A career I had been in for over 26 years. In my previous employment, we had been approached to offer Aflac to our employees, which after the discussion and guidance of the Aflac professionals, we choose to do. At this time I choose to insure myself and my family with th
e Aflac products. When I found myself in the job market in 2012 and the Aflac representative had approached me about joining their Aflac team, I finally agreed to a meeting to discuss this. After all, I had been using the product for over 2 years now, and it definitely had done exactly what they indicated it would and then some! It definitely helped me and my family when we needed it most. This is when I decided I wanted to help people on a daily basis. It helped me and I know how it impacted our lives as a single parent, so I thought why not educate employees and help others when I could? This is when my journey began! The studying began, and then the test! I PASSED the first time! I signed my contract on December 5, 2012 and received my writing number on December 7, 2012. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! I have been helping individuals everyday since. Whether it be meeting with business owners, so they will allow me to offer to their employees. Presenting to employees, listening to their family situations and presenting our products and educating them on how they work so they can make a decision on what is best for them and their family. To taking the calls, even at home at night and on weekends, helping individuals on how to file claims to even assisting them with them sometimes. After all, that is what we have the products for, to help us when we need it the most! As your agent, I do what I can to help when I can! I have many true real life stories I can share individually with you, that has happened within my personal family. My claims have kept our rent paid, utilities on, food on table, and some medical bills paid when family members needed me by their side and I ended up having a claim to file to help out with those needed costs. Without my Aflac, I would have had to have found additional income somewhere or borrowed from extended family or something. That is WHY I do what I do. I LOVE what I do. I BELIEVE in what I do. I LOVE to help people on a daily basis. I get to do this everyday as an Aflac Benefits Consultant!
